ENESA is responsible for providing electromechanical assembly services for the Main Exhaust System of the sinter production unit – Sinterization 1 of GERDAU OURO BRANCO.
The Sinterization 1 machine has 292 m² of effective area and began operation in 1986 with a nominal production of 427 t/h. The exhaust system is responsible for supplying air for the sintering combustion process. The upper face of the sinter layer is exposed to the atmosphere and the air is sucked through the grills on the lower side, promoting the combustion of the material.
The Main Exhaust System of Sintering 1 will be composed of 2 new equipments, Electrostatic Precipitators, which will be installed adjacent to the existing equipments.
