BOP – Pipe-Rack

Balance of Plant (BOP) is a term generally used in the context of power engineering to refer to all the supporting components and auxiliary systems of a power plant required to provide the power, except the generating unit itself. This can include transformers, inverters, support structures, etc.

The term pipe rack for piping is nothing more than the name given to a metal structure formed by beams and columns that is intended to support simply any vertical or horizontal piping.

The scope of this proposal comprises the electromechanical assembly of the Pipe Rack for Klabin – Puma II Project:

  • Modular Metallic Pipe Rack;
  • Enhancements on the existing pipe racks, including reinforcements of metallic structures;
  • Cable Rack;
  • Piping;
  • Instruments;
  • Beds for electrical;
  • Cable in the metal pipe/cable rack and beds.

With an estimated duration of 14 months, the work has 500 employees in Ortigueira, state of Paraná.
